What data we collect

When you use the SafeOut bot, the following is stored:

• Your Telegram ID, name, and language
• Date details: partner's name or username, profile link, meeting place address, route, car plate, additional notes
• Your planned return time
• Names, phone numbers, and Telegram IDs of trusted contacts
• Files (photos, screenshots, voice messages) — stored on Telegram's servers; we only store the reference (file_id)

Purpose and legal basis

Data is used exclusively to keep you safer during a date:

• Sending emergency alerts to trusted contacts if you miss a check-in
• Building an alert page with a summary of your information
• Remembering your language preference

Legal basis: your voluntary consent given when you start the bot.

Storage and security

Data is stored in a database on Railway servers (USA). Transfers are encrypted. Only the operator has access to the data.

Session data (date details and files) becomes irrelevant after the session ends. We do not delete it automatically but do not use it after completion.

Sharing with third parties

Data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Trusted contacts receive a link to the alert page only when an alert fires — this is the core feature of the service, which you are informed about upfront.

Your rights

You may:

• Request deletion of all your data — email julia.vl.reprintseva@gmail.com
• Withdraw consent — after which the bot will no longer be usable
• Request a copy of your data

Requests are handled within 30 days.

Age

This service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Policy changes

Material changes will be communicated through the bot. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
